The Fence Designer software will only show a grid size in proportion to the size of your display settings (for example - 44 feet x 74 feet).  Here’s how to make a fence line of the dimensions that you need:

1. Draw the fence, making an enclosed drawing (such as a square, rectangle or whatever shape you need).
2. Once you complete the final side of the drawing, the grid should change to smaller squares.
3. Place your mouse pointer over one of the blue diamonds at the corners of the drawing, and while holding the left mouse button, drag the line to the dimension that you need.  You will be able to see the length of the fence line as you are dragging it.
4. You can also verify the length of the fence line by clicking on “Views” in the menu bar, then clicking “Dimensioned Views” in the menu.  This will show you the length of the fence line.
5. You will need to return to “Plan View” to make adjustments to the fence design.
